You may be infected with the virus but not show any symptoms for many years when the liver's function is compromised. If treatment is implemented BEFORE the liver is adversly affected, the treatment is more likely to be successful and the damage done by the virus on the liver will be minimized.
As with many medications, there are several possible side effects to taking the necessary medications to treat HCV. Fortunately, there are also many ways to counter these side effects and help you deal with them effectively. Together, we will help you find coping strategies to deal with these possible issues on an individual basis.
