Sanguen Health Centre is the province's first community Hepatitis C service organization. It is a community-based organization that helps to meet the needs of people living with Hepatitis B & C in Waterloo Region and Guelph. We operate a clinic that provides specialized assessment and treatment and coordinates access to allied health and other needed services.

What is Hepatitis?

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. There are many causes, including viral infections and alcohol. Hepatitis C is a very common cause of viral hepatitis, and although there is no vaccine, there are treatments available that can potentially cure the infection.
